An industry publication for people who close deals, not just watch them from the sidelines.
U.S. Real Estate Journal covers American real estate development, investment, and capital markets. We publish three kinds of content, and we’re explicit about which is which: original Perspectives columns written by our named contributors; curated Investment Intel, on-the-ground investor reporting sourced from KeyCrew’s real estate desk with full attribution and links to the original reporting; and Industry Wire, deal and press coverage distributed via AP News, USA Today, StreetInsider, CityBiz, and other wire syndication partners.
The Journal is affiliated with Kaufman & Company, the permanent-capital holding company founded by Daniel Kaufman. Our Perspectives contributors are Kaufman & Company’s executive team — President & CIO, CFO, and General Counsel — plus the leadership of Oldivai Capital, a closely aligned workforce-housing partner. Every contributor writes from direct, current experience closing the kinds of deals they write about; none of it is outsourced to a content mill.
We don’t claim editorial independence from Kaufman & Company — we’re affiliated with it, plainly, in our footer on every page. What we do promise is that Perspectives columns reflect our contributors’ actual views and actual deals, that curated content is clearly labeled and linked to its original source rather than republished as if it were staff-written, and that we correct errors when we find them.
